I knew what I wanted to do when I was still in high school in Omaha. I spent countless hours in the dark room, carrying dripping strips of film from class to class. I went away to the University of Missouri for school, so I could study photojournalism. From there I worked in newspapers and at magazines, both as photographer and photo editor.

I fell in love with food and restaurant photography while working in the features department of the Arizona Republic. I have spent the past decade working for myself, photographing families and working for restaurant and product clients.

With a background in documentary work and a creative eye, I bring a sense of realism as well as beauty to the images we’ll make together. As a small business owner, I know how hard it is to feed the marketing beast. With a suite of custom images under your belt, making all that content would be so much easier, don’t you think?
